• Back in the Bush: Hitting the Ground Running…

    Hello family, friends and supporters,
    I’m finally getting an update out to all of you! I’ve been back for just over 2 months in the Mozambique bush after 4 wonderful months in Canada. I enjoyed my time in Canada – visiting with family and friends, reconnecting with supporters, making new friends/ministry connections, and having the opportunity to participate in a number of events – the FCA Convention, our annual SAMM mission banquet and the Global Care-A-Thon, which raises money for our school & orphan feeding program. The time was rich, full and encouraging for me and exactly what I needed. Even though I had a fairly full schedule…I felt refreshed and rejuvenated! Thank you to all of you for your love, encouragement and support while I was “home” in Canada.
    A week after I arrived in Mozambique, Dwight and Lynn headed to Canada and the US for 6 weeks…so needless to say it was a FULL week between catching up on what all I needed to do before and in their absence plus getting over jetlag! Just adjusting back to life out here in the bush takes time…only having power certain hours, building fires to have hot water…things that are not part of my normal life when I’m in Canada.   Continue reading…
